When I watched this video I was disgusted. Had this been a regular person and not a police officer slamming someone to the ground they would have been arrested and punished, but since they were police officers they are being taken off the streets and being demoted. Why aren't they being punished for their crime? Just ridiculous.
It's sad that they abuse their power against any innocent person in general, but the fact that they beat on a petite woman makes me believe they feel emasculate and this is what they have to do to feel powerful again. What could this 5'4" nurse possibly have said to make them so angry they would do this to her? Nothing, they should have stayed professional. And the fact that they "fist bumped" was just all the more reason to punish these cops because that makes it seem like they were doing it to make themselves feel better or "seem cool" to each other, that was not professional at all.
